Byron appointed to Blue Ridge School District Technology Steering Committee

Byron was introduced to the Blue Ridge School Board by the Chris Dyer, Superintendent, to serve on the Technology Steering Committee. Given Byron’s 30 year background in technology research and development, this seemed to be an excellent opportunity for him to give back to the community. “I am looking forward to the opportunity of working with the School District in this capacity and am honored that I was asked to participate.”

Happy Birthday, New Milford

Endless Mountains Studios was honored to be selected as the photography studio to capture the birthday celebration for our new home town, New Milford, PA. The New Milford Borough is now 150 years old and the New Milford Township is 200 years old.  We proudly wore the Historical Committee’s Event Photographer badge for the 3 days spent capturing history for the new time capsule.

The Historical Committee came to us and said that they would like to commission us to photograph the opening of the time capsule from the celebration 50 years ago and to document the event for the new time capsule. After listening to their presentation, we responded: “No, you can’t hire us to photograph the celebration.” And we quickly followed that response with, “but we will be honored to handle the event for you at no charge as our gift to the community.”

Since opening our new studio only a couple of months ago with the move to Susquehanna County from San Francisco, we are truly honored that the Historical Committee chose to place their trust in us for such an important community event. Thank you, New Milford.

Working with Co-chairs Ken Bondurant and Linda Baroni was a pleasure. And having Jane Zick lead us around the Borough, describing the history and introducing us to seemingly every resident was a real treat (and Ken, she really is good at driving that John Deere around)…

The rains held off and the Friday through Sunday event was perfect.

The images will be made available by the Historical Committee and will be printed in the new “blue book” chronicling the 50 years since the last Anniversary Celebration.

We apologized to any of you who stopped by the studio Friday only to find us closed, but we had a fantastic 3 days capturing New Milford history.
