Endless Mountains Studios is Pennsylvania's leading high school senior portrait studio.
The Studio brings together the photographic artistry of Byron with the business and customer service acumen of Reneé to offer the area an exciting opportunity for lifestyle portraiture.
The studio creates "wall art", lifestyle family portraiture, as well as high school senior portraits and wedding services. The studio has an expertise in the creation of digital photo albums and has been delivering albums from digital printing presses for many years. Byron began using digital cameras in 1991 when they were still in the experimental phase and made the complete change over to digital portraiture in 2002.
Endless Mountains Studios is a member of Montrose Area Chamber of Commerce and Endless Mountains Business Association.
Byron was born in Arkansas but grew up in Africa and Europe. Moving to Africa at age 3, he returned to the US in time to graduate high school in Arizona and then to earn the BA degree from the University of Arizona. He later earned the technology diploma from the Albuquerque Technical Institute and received advanced training at the University of New Mexico and the Harvard University School of Business Executive Program. Byron also earned the Professional Photography Certificate of the New York Institute of Photography.
Byron has spent decades in technology and digital imaging, working in research and development for the world's largest technology companies: Hewlett-Packard, Compaq and IBM. Byron led an engineering team in the early 90's that pioneered digital multimedia into the personal computer and holds patents in the area of digital communications.
Byron has studied with many world known Master Photographers including: Gregory Daniel, Larry Peters, Hanson Fong, Monte Zucker, Don MacGregor, Elizabeth Homan, Steve Kozak, Sarah Petty, Vicki Taufer, Fay Sirkis and attends a minimum of 6 seminars a year for advanced training. He annually attends Texas School of Professional Photography, the largest affiliate school of the Professional Photographers of America, instructed by leading professional photographers from the world over.
Byron has active professional memberships in Professional Photographers of America, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, Senior Portrait Artists and National Association of Photoshop Professionals. At the state and local levels, Byron is a member of Texas Professional Photographers Association, Professional Photographers of California, Professional Photographer's Society of New York State, Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area, Southern Tier Professional Photographers of New York, and Northeast Pennsylvania Professional Photographers. Internationally, Byron is also a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and British Professional Photographers Associates.
Byron is a CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER, a designation granted by the Professional Photographic Certification Commission, the world's leading certification agency of imaging professionals -- less that 3% of all photographers hold this MARK OF EXCELLENCE.
Reneé, nee Jones, grew up in Hallstead and graduated Blue Ridge High School. After completing a degree from SUNY Broome, she earned the BA degree from the University of Houston and the MBA degree in Operations Management from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University (earning the Krannert plaque as the highest graduate in her class).
Reneé has a storied career in finance and operations management with Hewlett-Packard, the world's largest technology company, leading international logistics finance operations with direct reports from Argentina to Canada.
