It’s starting to look like a home…

Recent update:
It’s now gone past 1 year since we began, but at least it’s beginning to look more like a home. We are now shooting for a move in by Christmas ’10 – everyone keep you fingers crossed.

We started to break ground on our new home in New Milford in September and are just now getting it enclosed. It’s a bit difficult to build a home through the winter, but it is moving ahead. We assembled a great team of contractors — each the best in their particular expertise. If you want the best, give them a shout. ICF (insulated concrete forms) walls and geothermal HVAC are a couple of the “green” features.

Up above Old Mill Village, this 6,000 sq ft custom country home sits on 24 acres with a fantastic view down into the valley. We hope to be moving in by early summer.
